<p>ファーストレイヤーキャリブレーションは、ノズルの先端とプリント面の距離を調整するためのものです。 押し出されたフィラメントが、わずかに押しつぶされてヒートベッドにぴったりとくっついている状態になるようにノズルの高さを調整していきます。</p>
<p>組立て済みのPrusaプリンターはすでに微調整されています。このキャリブレーションは、キットバージョンを組み立てた場合、またはノズルを変更する場合のみ必要となります。 ファーストキャリブレーションはウィザードの一部です(XYZキャリブレーションの最後のステップ)。 後で <em>LCD menu - Calibration - First Layer Calibration</em> から再度、ファーストキャリブレーションをすることもできます。 このキャリブレーションを実行中、プリンターがジグザグパターンをプリントしているときに、ノブを回してノズルとベッド間の距離を手動で調整していきます。</p>

<h3>スムーズシート</h3>
<h4>高すぎる</h4>
<p><strong>ラインは平らになっているが、押しつぶしが足りない。</strong> テストラインの最後にプリントする塗りつぶし四角形パターンで<strong>ライン間に隙間が発生しています。 (<span style="color: #e03e2d;">左の写真</span>)のようなときは、ノズルの位置が高すぎることを意味します。&nbsp;</strong>このときの値は、適正値よりもゼロに近い値になっています。</p>
<h4>低すぎる</h4>
<p>ノズルの位置が低すぎると (<span style="color: #e03e2d;">右の写真</span>) ラインが完全に押しつぶされており、最後の塗りつぶし四角形の<strong>ライン間に隆起が見られるときは、ノズル位置が低すぎるサインで</strong> 適正値よりゼロから離れた値になっています。 低すぎると、塗りつぶし四角形の端がめくれ上がりはじめることもあります。極端な場合、フィラメントが非常に薄く広がり、プリントされたフィラメントが透けて見えるようになり、ホットエンドの詰まりの原因にもなります。</p>
<h4>適正</h4>
<p>適正に調整すると、ライン間に隙間や隆起がなく、平らな表面 (<span style="color: #2dc26b;">中央の写真</span>) が形成されます。 先に述べたように、数値はP.I.N.D.A./SuperPINDAセンサーが固定されている位置とノズル先端の高低差によって異なります。これは各マシンで固有であり、プリントしたときの状況を目視でチェックしなければ意味がありませんが、目安としての<strong>一般的な範囲は-0.400 〜 -1.500です。</strong></p>

<h3>テクスチャー加工シート</h3>
<p>テクスチャー加工シートは、PEIのスムーズシートよりも薄いため、ノズルを少し近づける必要がありますが、スムーズシートと同じ結果を求めています。繰り返しますが、<strong>設定が低すぎると(<span style="color: #e03e2d;">右の写真</span>) 、フィラメントが付着していないように、フィラメントがエッジの周りで丸まり始める</strong>ことがあります。数値が適正値よりもゼロから遠すぎていますので、調整し直す必要があります。</p>
<p>ノズルの位置が高すぎると、ラインが丸くなり、最後の塗りつぶし四角形のライン間にギャップができます。この場合、値は適正値よりもゼロに近すぎています。</p>

<h3>1層目のキャリブレーションを実行するタイミング</h3>

<h3>その他の問題</h3>
<ul>
<li>直線のラインの幅がところどころで変化する場合は、 <a href="http://help.prusa3d.com/ja/article/bed-level-correction_2267">ベッドのレベル補正</a>を行う必要があるかもしれません 。</li>
<li>ノズルがベッドに接触した場合、SuperPINDA/P.I.N.D.A.センサーはフレキシブルスチールシートを検知できていないので、センサーを固定しているホルダーのセンサー位置を物理的に下に移動する必要があります。これにより、センサーの高さがノズル先端の高さに近づきます。アセンブリマニュアルの<a href="http://help.prusa3d.com/ja/guide/9-preflight-check_76792">プリフライトチェック</a> の指示に従って調整されていることを確認してください。<strong><span class="tooltip" data-tooltip="p-i-n-d-a-sensor_125447">P.I.N.D.A. センサー</span>&nbsp; の固定位置を変えたときは 、1層目のキャリブレーションをやり直す必要があります。</strong></li>

1層目のキャリブレーション (i3)

<div class="warning-callout">これは&nbsp;<strong>高度なキャリブレーション</strong>であり、 &nbsp;<strong>経験豊富な</strong>ユーザーにのみお勧めします。</div>
<p>射出率(Extrusion Multiplier)を使用すると、押出し流量を微調整できます。これは、&nbsp;<strong>簡単に言えばノズルから出るフィラメントの量です</strong>。 つまり、PrusaSlicerの&nbsp;<strong>射出率</strong>&nbsp;設定とプリンターファームウェアの&nbsp;<strong>Flowrate</strong>&nbsp;設定は、同じことを調整する2つの方法ですが、これら2つの設定の一方を調整しても、もう一方の値には影響しません。</p>
<p><strong>この手順は、工場から出荷される新しいプリンタでは必要ありません</strong>が、特殊な用途やフィラメントのときに行います。 理想的な値は、素材の種類や色によっても異なります。 スプールごとに異なる場合もあります。 フィラメントの種類やブランドを頻繁に変更したり、安価な無名ブランドを使用したりする場合は、この点に注意してください。</p>
<div class="note-callout">トータルの流量 = ファームウェアの<strong>Flow multiplier</strong> (M221) x PrusaSlicerの<strong>射出量</strong>。<br />より詳細に調べられる方のための情報として、PrusaSlicer は、 <a href="https://manual.slic3r.org/advanced/flow-math">Slic3rのフロー計算</a> と同じ計算を行っていることをお伝えしておきます。</div>
<h3><strong>問題を見つける方法</strong></h3>
<p>このキャリブレーションは、以下の2つの一般的な問題を修正するときに行います。</p>
<ul>
<li><strong>過剰な射出</strong> - 押し出される材料が多すぎます（流量が高すぎ）。 それによりボトムレイヤーの傷跡とトップレイヤーの不必要な材料のダマが発生します。</li>
<li><strong>ところどころで射出不足</strong>&nbsp;- 十分な材料が押し出されていません（流量が低すぎ）。 レイヤー間や外周部のところに小さなギャップが発生します。</li>

<p><strong>過剰な射出</strong>は多くのフィラメントで発生する一般的な問題です。 特に、2つに分割したモデルを接着しようとするときに問題が顕在化します。 <strong>トップレイヤーが過剰に押し出されると、表面が凸凹の不均一になり、2つのパーツを隙間なく密着できなくなります。</strong></p>
<h3><strong>キャリブレーション方法</strong></h3>
<p>PrusaSlicerで、<span class="key">フィラメント設定</span>タブを開き、射出率の項目を見ます。(PLAの)デフォルト設定は 1 です。この値はパーセンテージを表し、1 = 100％、0.95 = 95％などです。通常、調整範囲は0.9から1.1の間です。 調整するには、値を書き換えるだけです。</p>

<h4>どちらの方法がよいか？</h4>
<p>射出率のキャリブレーションでのチェックできる方法は2つあり、この記事では両方について説明します:</p>

<p>どちらの方法を選ぶかはあなたの好みで決めてもらって構いません。どちらの方法を選んでも最終的には同じ結果が得られます。 つまり、簡易な目視での方法でも、トップレイヤーが完璧に平らでスムーズになり、合わせ面もフィットするパーツが作れるようになります。</p>
<h4>正確な方法</h4>
<div class="note-callout">次のガイドは、<strong>デフォルト</strong>のPrusaSlicer 0.4ノズルヲ使ったプロファイルを想定しており、積層高さは0.1mm～0.2mmであることに注意してください。つまり:<br />
- ノズル径 = 0.4<br />
- 射出幅 =&nbsp;0.45<br />
- 基本的な材料 (PLA, ABS, PETG) 射出率 = 1<br />
<strong>これよりも大きい/小さいノズルや、0.2mmを超えるレイヤーピッチで調整する場合は、条件で示す値も適宜変更する必要があります。</strong></div>
<ol>

<li>花瓶モード (Vase Mode) にして、最もよく使用するレイヤー高さに設定してプリントします。 花瓶モード (Vase Mode) にするには (プリント設定 →&nbsp; レイヤーと外周 →&nbsp; スパイラル花瓶)をチェックします。</li>
<li>各壁の中央で3点以上の測定を行い、全体の平均厚さを計算します。</li>
<li>次の式を使用して、射出率を計算します。: <strong>射出率 = (射出幅 (0.45) / 測定した平均壁厚)</strong>。</li>

<p>外周付近に&nbsp;<strong>多くの材料がたまっている場合</strong>&nbsp;、&nbsp;射出率の値を<strong>減らし</strong>&nbsp;ます。</p>

射出率のキャリブレーション

<p>液体を流すパイプと同様に、3Dプリンターのホットエンドで溶融フィラメントが詰まることがあります。ここでは、3Dプリンターのタイプや品番に共通する主要な詰まりの原因を説明します。また、そもそも詰まりが形成されるのを防ぐ方法に関するヒントがあります。</p>
<h3>詰まり現象について</h3>
<p>一番わかりやすい詰まり現象は、フィラメントが挿入されているのに溶融フィラメントが<strong>ノズルから出てこなくなる</strong>というものです。ただし、ホットエンドの部分的にしか詰っていないこともありますので注意が必要です。<strong>この部分的な詰まり</strong>が発生しているかどうかは、フィラメントのロード/アンロードは正常に行えるのでわかりにくいのですが、<strong>プリント中の</strong>積層状態から判断できます。 ノズル詰まりの初期には、溶融フィラメントがノズルから均一に押し出されていないとか、押し出された溶融フィラメントがカールしてノズルに付着するなどの兆候があります。</p>
<p>別の一般的な兆候としては、<strong>カチッという音</strong>または<strong>エクストルーダーからのカチカチという音</strong>が出ていることです。 エクストルーダーから出るカチッという音は、ステッピングモーターの負荷が高くなったときにステップをスキップしてしまう「脱調」という現象が起きていることがほとんどです。この脱調とはステッピングモータに設定したしきい値よりも大きなトルクが必要になったときに、途中まで回転させるための力が解放されて1回以上のステップをスキップしてその場で跳ね返る現象です。機械的な問題、電気的な問題、ソフトウェアの問題、ホットエンドの詰まりなどが考えられ、またはこれらの要因のいずれかの組み合わせである可能性があります。</p>
<div class="note-callout">重要なこととして、<strong>ホットエンドが詰まっていることと、ノズルが詰まっていることは同じではない&lt;/ strong&gt;ことを知っておいてください</strong>。詰まりは(ヒートシンクに挿入されている)PTFEチューブや他の場所で起きている可能性があるため、<strong>単にノズルを交換することは、この問題の抜本的な解決策とはなりません</strong>。</div>

<h3>修理方法</h3>
<p>この問題に対処するには、主に3つの方法があります。 適切な方法を選択するに、まずはフィラメントをロード/アンロードできるかどうかを確認してください。 部分的な詰まりの場合は、溶融またはコールドプルすることができる事が多く、フィラメントのロードすらできないような厄介な詰まりの場合は、以下で説明する3番目の方法が必要になります。</p>
<p>これらの方法のいずれかを開始する前に、<strong>フィラメントをアンロード</strong>して、エクストルーダーから取り外します。作業を簡単にするために、フロントパネルで <em> LCD Menu -&gt; Settings -&gt; Move axis -&gt; Move Z-axis</em>を選んで<strong>上方に移動させておきます</strong>。</p>
<h4>コールドプル</h4>

<p>Linear Advance (LA) is a technology that predicts the pressure build-up in the extruder when printing at higher speeds. The firmware of the printer uses that prediction to decrease the amount of filament extruded just before stopping and decelerating, which prevents blobs or artifacts at the sharp corners. What is referred to as '<strong>K-values</strong>' are the parameter determining how much Linear Advance affects the print.</p>

<p>With firmware 3.9.0, we introduced <strong>Linear Advance 1.5</strong> for the Original Prusa MK3S, MK3, MK2.5S, and MK2.5, which was further improved upon with FW 3.9.1, addressing print artifacts found in specific scenarios and geometries. <strong>Linear Advance 1.5 is also backward compatible with version 1.0.</strong> In case you have a G-code with Linear Advance 1.0, the printer will analyze the code and convert the values automatically. </p>
<div class="tip-callout">Print profiles for the Original Prusa MINI are well-tuned. Additionally, there has never been LA1.0 on the MINI, so no conversion (to LA1.5) is required.</div>
<h3>Configuration</h3>
<p><strong>These values are part of our PrusaSlicer configurations and filament presets. No need to adjust if you are using these.</strong> However, if you are using filaments not present or wish to play around with the presets, we have developed a <a href="https://www.prusaprinters.org/prints/39968-la15-k-factor-calibration">K-factor calibration print</a> together with the community, to find the perfect K-values for your material and printing temperatures. These are based on the various quality and layer height presets found in PrusaSlicer.</p>
<div class="warning-callout"><strong>This article mainly refers to the printer use with a 0.4 mm brass nozzle.</strong> Other nozzle sizes or materials could result in different K-values.</div>
<p>It will print a series of lines with different K-values affecting the speed and flow across the accelerated distance. The examples below show how the lines are affected by their K-value. The first and last 25 mm are printed slowly, and between the marked locations (<span style="color: #e03e2d;">red squares</span>) 100mm is printed fast. Look closely at the transition from slow to fast and fast to slow. You see the line can be irregular to broken entirely when the value is not optimal, most visible on the top lines (<span style="color: #e03e2d;">red squares</span>), but present on all except those with the optimal K-factor. You also see big differences between different materials and how much difference it can make to have this dialed in.</p>

<h4>Other slicers</h4>
<p>If you are using a different slicer than our PrusaSlicer, you must manually change the settings in the G-code script of your slicer. </p>
<p><strong>Simplify3D, Cura, etc.</strong> users just need to add “M900 Kxx” into the starting G-code script. Keep in mind you need to manually change that for different filament materials. <strong>Only PrusaSlicer has a custom G-code for each filament preset</strong> and therefore the K value is changed automatically. Set the desired speed and print something (large enough for speed to show up). If sharp corners have blobs, <strong>increase the K value</strong>. If you see missing filament, <strong>decrease the K value</strong>.</p>

Linear Advance

<p>PID tuning is a calibration procedure that ensures the printer holds a stable target temperature at all times. PID (Proportional Integral Derivate) is used on the Original Prusa printers to maintain a stable temperature <strong>on the hotend</strong>. You can use the PID tuning to calibrate its values in case you are experiencing small fluctuations in temperature readings of your printer's nozzle (e.g +/- 5 °C).&nbsp;</p>

<div class="warning-callout">If you are experiencing major temperature fluctuations, <strong>higher than +/-5 °C</strong>, there could be a problem with your fan or thermistor wire/connector.</div>
</div>
<h3>How to perform PID tuning</h3>
<p>Starting with firmware version 2.0.12., PID tuning is an optional calibration procedure, which is super easy to perform. It can be found in the <em>LCD Menu -&gt; Calibration -&gt; PID calibration.</em></p>
<p>Follow these steps:&nbsp;</p>

<li>Once you open the&nbsp;<strong>PID calibration&nbsp;</strong>menu, set the temperature at which the calibration should run.</li>
<li>To achieve optimal results, select a temperature you use most often during your prints (e.g. the temperature for PLA, PETG, or other favorite material).</li>

<div class="note-callout">The PID tuning will increase the stability for all temperatures, it is not necessary to make it multiple times for different temperatures.</div>

<li>The nozzle will heat up to the selected temperature in 5 cycles. During these cycles, the printer will determine the amount of power needed to reach the user-defined temperature and maintain it.&nbsp;</li>

XYZ キャリブレーション(MK3/MK3S/MK3S+)

アイドラーネジ張力の調整

<p>P.I.N.D.A. または SuperPINDA センサーは、ビルドプレート（パウダーテクスチャーコート、スムースPEIシートかは関係ありません）上に広がる、グリッドパターンで多数のポイントを通過し、シートまでの距離を測定します。これらの点は補正され、ベッドの仮想メッシュを作成するために使用されます。プリント中、ベッドが多少ゆがんでいても、センサーは測定したメッシュに従って正確に表面を追従します。この手順は、毎回のプリント前に行われます。また、XYZ-キャリブレーションの2回目も同じ手順で行われます。</p>

<p>Z軸のStallGuard（※ステッパーモーターの制御技術）は、メッシュベッドのレベリング中にアクティブになります。PINDAセンサーが作動する前にノズルがベッドに衝突した場合、キャリブレーションのプロセスが中断され、ノズルにゴミが付着していないか確認するようユーザーに指示されます。</p>

<h3>メッシュベッドレベリングの設定</h3>

<p><strong>Z-probe nr.:</strong> Zセンサーの番号を変更すると、各ポイントを何回測定するかを変更することができます。最終的な値は平均値として計算されるため、1ポイントあたり3回または5回の計測をお勧めします。これらの設定を変更することで、メッシュベッドのレベリングにかかる時間が変わります。</p>
<p><strong>Magnet comp.:</strong> 7&times;7メッシュベッドレベリングでは、マグネット補正の有無を選択することができます。49点のうち11点は磁石に近いため、読み取り値が80&mu;m（ミクロン）ほどずれることがあります。磁石補正は、この11点の読み取り値を無視し、周囲の点から計算します。<strong>この機能は常にオンにしておくことをお勧めします。</strong></p>
<h3>Enforcing the Z-calibration</h3>
<p>メッシュベッドのレベリングが手順中に中断された場合、プリント前に画面に「"Enforcing the Z-calibration"（Zキャリブレーションを実行しています）」というメッセージが表示され、プリンタは一度ホームに戻り、手順を再度実行します。これは、ノズルにゴミが付着していたり、プロービング時にベッドを押していたり、プロービング中にベッドに触れたり押したりすると発生する可能性があります。この場合、偏差がある閾値以上になると、メッシュベッドレベリングを再度実行することになります。これは、問題が単なる事故であった場合、メニューから再び起動することを避けるためです。問題が残っている場合、プリントをキャンセルする前に、この手順を3回繰り返します。</p>

<p>All induction proximity probes alter the sensing distance with increased temperature. This might affect the quality of the first printed layer. P.I.N.D.A. v2 probe, included in the MK3S/MK3/MK2.5S/MK2.5, has an embedded thermistor inside its body to measure the temperature and fully compensate for the drift. A pre-calibrated data table is stored in the printer and the temperature calibration is active by default.</p>
<div class="note-callout">Since there is no thermistor in the SuperPINDA, temperature calibration is not available or necessary on the MK3S+ or MK2.5/MK2.5S equipped with the SuperPINDA.</div>
<p>However, it can drift out of calibration over time, and you may also find this calibration helpful when weather and temperatures change in the spring and autumn.</p>
<p>The calibration is fully automatic, but we will lead you through it so you know it went OK.</p>
<ol>
<li>Start by taking off the Flexible steel sheet.</li>
<li>Navigate the LCD-menu to <em>Calibration -&gt; Temperature calibration</em>. Once selected, the printer will home all axes in order to ensure the correct initial position, and warn you it needs an ambient temperature from 21-26 °C (70 - 80 °F) and a stable surface, then ask if the Steel sheet is on the bed. Make sure it is not on and Select "NO".</li>
</ol>
<div class="note-callout">If you have just heated the printer, the P.I.N.D.A. sensor will need to cool below 35 °C (95 °F). It will move up and show the state of the cooling on the display.</div>

<li>The extruder will move in over the bed-surface, stop, and with the pinda positioned over the bed, heat up the bed from 75 - 110 °C (167 - 230 °F), across six parts, while checking the readings given by the stationary PI.N.D.A. sensor.</li>

<p>This calibration can take 15-20 minutes to go through. The temperature-calibration has to run after a completed XYZ-calibration, and it can be recommended to run PID-calibration beforehand, should you receive any errors, like "<a href="http://help.prusa3d.com/ja/article/thermal-runaway-i3-series_2131">Thermal Runaway</a>", when running the calibration.</p>

Temperature Calibration

Zキャリブレーションの失敗 (MK3S/MK2.5S)

<p>Starting with the firmware version 3.0.12, more detailed information about XYZ calibration results becomes available. This feature can be found in <em>LCD menu -&gt; Support -&gt; XYZ cal. details.</em></p>
<p>The first screen tells you the distance of the “perfect” position of your front 1st, 2nd, and 3rd calibration points. Ideally, all of these are positive and at least 0.5 mm or more. If the margin is between 0 and 0.4 mm, then there is a chance that your calibration will not be successful ("<a href="http://help.prusa3d.com/ja/article/calibration-failed_2033">XYZ calibration failed</a>" error).&nbsp;</p>
<div class="tip-callout">For the Original Prusa MK2/S, in order to improve your results, you should <a href="http://help.prusa3d.com/ja/article/misaligned-pinda-sensor-mk2-s_2016">adjust the threaded rods</a> of the frame so that all of the points can be reached during the calibration process.</div>
<p>To achieve the best results, aim for the smallest possible difference between Left and Right numbers. A difference of up to 0.1mm is considered good.</p>
<p>Pressing the knob will take you to the second screen. This screen identifies how far you are from the perfect perpendicularity. It is measuring the skew of your X/Y axis.</p>
<ul>
<li>Over 0.25° = <strong>Severe skew compensating</strong> for the offset of 1.1 mm on 250 mm length&nbsp;</li>
<li>Between 0.25° and 0.12° =&nbsp;<strong>Slight skew compensating</strong> for the offset of 0.5 mm on 250 mm length&nbsp;</li>
<li>Under 0.12° = <strong>No need to compensate</strong>, X and Y axis are perpendicular. Congratulations!&nbsp;</li>
</ul>
<p>It may seem that the compensations are not that significant. However, if we take into consideration the 250 mm X-axis length, 1.1 mm is a large margin. In order to improve your axis perpendicularity, make sure the difference in the front calibration points distance is minimal.</p>
<p>When you get your axes perpendicular or just slightly skewed, nothing needs to be tweaked as the printer will perform with the best accuracy.</p>

XYZ Calibration details

<p>The Calibration failed error occurs once there is a problem with the calibration. The printer was unable to properly detect the calibration point/s and can not successfully finish the calibration. In order to operate the printer, you must find the source of the problem and fix it.</p>
<div class="warning-callout">For <strong>MK2.5/MK2.5S printers that have the SuperPINDA</strong> installed, you <strong>MUST use firmware version 3.9.3, or above!</strong></div>

<p>Both of these error messages point to the same source. The printer was unable to find any of the calibration points. Therefore, there is almost for sure something wrong with the assembly. Don't re-assemble your printer just yet, but see the troubleshooting points of the following articles.</p>

<h4>Left, Right, or Front calibration points not reachable</h4>
<p>Unlike the other error messages related to the calibration, in this one, the printer was actually able to find some calibration points, but not all of them. However, troubleshooting remains the same. As that is the only way how to easily find out where the problem lies.</p>
<div class="warning-callout">Before you start, remove the steel sheet if you own the Original Prusa i3 MK3 or MK2.5.</div>
<ol>
<li>Go to LCD Menu -&gt; Calibration -&gt; Auto home.&nbsp;</li>
<li>Inspect where the PINDA sensor ends up. It must be within the First calibration point.</li>
<li>After checking the 1st calibration point, move the extruder with your hand, to the other end of the heatbed and inspect the 2nd calibration point.&nbsp;</li>
<li>If the PINDA sensor wasn't inside of any of the circles. Follow the instructions in the PINDA sensor misaligned.&nbsp;</li>

Calibration failed

<p>The "Distance between the tip of the nozzle and the bed surface has not been set yet" error message occurs after you successfully finish all of the calibration parts, <strong>except</strong> the First layer calibration.</p>

<h3>What to do:</h3>
<ol>
<li>If the previous calibration was successfully finished, then just perform the First layer calibration. That can be done through the LCD Menu -&gt; Calibration -&gt; First layer cal.</li>
<li>Choose the filament you want to use for this calibration, we strongly suggest using PLA.</li>
<li><strong>Fully finish</strong> the <a href="http://help.prusa3d.com/ja/article/first-layer-calibration-i3_112364">1層目のキャリブレーション (i3)</a> at least once and you are good to go.</li>
</ol>
<div class="tip-callout">Small adjustments can be later applied through the Live Z adjust option, even <strong>while printing</strong>. This menu can be entered only when printing the first 3 layers, just press the <strong>Knob -&gt; Live adjust Z</strong> and then you can tune it.</div>
