The Prusa CORE One, and the Original Prusa XL, MK4/S, MK3.9/S are equipped with a loadcell. Thanks to this component, starting from firmware 6.0.0, the printer can detect whether the filament is stuck and not moving, for example when the nozzle is clogged.
If this is detected, the print pauses and the printer shows the message: "Stuck filament detected. The filament seems to be stuck. Please unload it from the extruder and load it again."
Once the unload button is pressed, the printer unloads the filament. After this, it prompts filament loading and resumes the print.
It is important to note that detecting stuck filament is possible only inside the Nextruder, as pressure builds up from the nozzle to the upper part of the Nextruder. However, if your filament is tangled on the spool, there will be no internal pressure, just outside tension, which the loadcell won't recognize.
Stuck filament detection won't be possible on MK3.5 and MINI/MINI+ as they aren't equipped with the loadcell sensor.

Got this error consistently a few days after running my printer. Troubleshooting led me to that the thumb screws keeping the nozzle in place got loose after operation, which probably makes sense given that the extruder is flung around a bunch when printing, so remember to check that every few prints I guess

I'm getting this error on both my XL's now....what "thumb screws" are you referring to? I dont see any thumb screws on mine.

Hi! So on the XL, we don't have thumb screws to hold the nozzle, but a set screw / grub screw. Its position and access point depend whether it is a single-tool or multi-tool XL.
To check for the nozzle position, you can refer to the "Check if the nozzle is not loose" paragraph from this article https://help.prusa3d.com/article/nozzle-cleaning-failed-xl_395809, even if you are not receiving that particular warning message.

Buongiorno,
improvvisamente e da qualche ora accade che la nostra stampante MK4 emetta strani suoni in fase di caricamento del filamento (come da video linkato), come se si bloccasse e provasse a procedere con difficoltà.
https://drive.google.com/file/d/1GPucOlMI55UbdWYlpKZ4BHGGmRiebDU6/view?usp=sharing
La stampa parte, ma dopo pochi istanti si interrompe con il messaggio di errore della seguente immagine: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1oTgEgxTzeTxpd9M3fg81TeZQdVRN98g9/view?usp=sharing
Come possiamo risolvere? Grazie.

I was halfway through a long print. The printer reported stuck filament. I unloaded and reloaded the filament, ordinary PLA. Printing restarted, and ran 30 minutes. Stuck again. Cleared and ran for 10 minutes. Repeat. Repeat. Please give me a list of what I need to check or change.

Is there an update coming to try a cold pull when unloading???
Is there a way to ID which loadcell, ie the extruder gear or xyz. This will tell you if it is avoiding a layer shift or just poor extrusion.
