I had this problem. It turned out when you press to start the test it counts down if you tap the nozzle before the count is finished and the now comes up it fails ever time. i thought the count was the time you have to tap. You should say wait until the count down is finished

40 X 40 Is a large area, is this truly a requirement. I have had to put two work tables together to get a 40 inch depth. My XL is only on a 21 inch deep table and it fits fine
