In case you have the old version of the buffer in the assembled state, it is necessary to disassemble it first.
We will re-use only the six large plastic plates from it.
If you have the plastic sheets alone, please skip to the next chapter.

Same here, I came up with an easier solution at the time.  I'd be insterested in some good pictures of new buffer working and changing filament to see if it would be better.

The new buffer is significantly better than the old monstrosity. However, loading filament is still a bit more challenging compared to the process on a single-material printer.

I no longer have the Buffer. I have used my MMU2 without a buffer for the last 2 years.  Will I need this buffer for something? If so, how do I get one?

Hi! To build the new buffer, you will need the buffer plates. The plates were a part of the original MMU2S package. If you can’t find the plates, you can either order them or try one of the alternative 3rd party printable buffer solutions.
