Do we need to do this entire section if we aree upgrading from the MMU2s to MMU3?
EDIT: I see someone already asked this in the next comment section and was replied to. Might be worth adding this info at the top. TY!

Hi!
The MMU3 would definitely work together with the old MMU2S chimney too.
As an official solution, we suggest updating the chimney - as the MMU3 chimney is easier to calibrate.

Hi. Before starting the Extuder upgrade step , I like to know if I find that I like to Cancel the the MMU in future and use the printer as it was with single filament , Can I use the Extruder after changes or I have to reverse the steps back?

If you wish to use the printer as a single material after insatalling the MMU3 onto it,
you can either turn off the MMU in the menu, or use the MMU Single profile and select a filament to use once you start the print.
Filament runout detection might be tricky though, as the chimney rather detects if the filament is inbetween the Bondtech gears - and if it runs out there, the wheels might no longer be able to catch and unload it. Then, you might need to remove the extruder-idler-mmu part and remove the filament leftover manually.
