What happened?

This warning indicates that homing calibration is required to ensure precise and repeatable axis homing. However, unlike other cases, the printer cannot initiate the process directly from the warning dialog. Instead, you must start it manually from the printer menu.

Error name: Calibrate homing from menu

Error code: #31120 (CORE One) #35120 (CORE One L) #36120 (CORE One INDX) #17120 (XL)

How to fix it?

On the printer screen, navigate to LCD Menu -> Control -> Autohome to start the calibration.

Observe the printer's movement:

  • If all axes home smoothly and correctly, the warning should disappear after successful calibration.
  • If the printer moves erratically, struggles, or makes grinding noises, mechanical issues may be the cause.

Check the following if homing fails:

    • Belt tension: Ensure all belts are tight and not slipping. Adjust if needed.
    • Pulley screws: Inspect the motor pulleys for loose grub screws that may cause slipping. Each motor pulley has two set screws, one of which has to be aligned with the flat part of the motor shaft.

  • Axis alignment: Verify that the axes move freely without resistance when powered off.
  • Obstructions: Make sure there is nothing blocking the movement of the print head or bed.
