The easiest way to push in a nut into the plastic socket for me is the one shown in the documentation: (1) thread the nut onto the screw for a couple of mm, (2) using the screw as a handle, push the nut into its socket, (3) unscrew the screw from the nut, (4) insert the screw into its place, (5) turn the screw with a hex key until it engages (you may keep one finger against the nut to prevent it from popping out of its socket). Then assemble the parts in their reciprocal position and tighten the screw firmly but not excessively hard .

I believe it is a 10mm OD 8mm ID PTFE
Jakub Dolezal

Hi, the PTFE has outer diameter 10 mm, inner 8 mm and length is 7.5 mm.

Can this be used with the enclosure?
David B.

Hi! There is no need for it - since the Enclosure utilizes its own filament holder and guiding PTFE tube.

This guide is helpful but it really should be added into either the printed manual or provided as a printed sheet when you buy the printer either assembled or as a kit.
Shane, Prusa Product department

it is listed as a add on as people can have various existing set ups for filament that they would like to use, like a side filament set up, an enclosure (either for the printer or just the filament). Plus the assembly for the filament holders are included in the instructions for each type for the respected printer.

I just received a new MK4 and the guide was included with the assembled machine.
