The directions are very unclear. If I got my PTFE tube in an upgrade kit directly from Prusa, do I need to trim and drill, or not?

Hello. The PTFE tubes are provided already trimmed and drilled, however you might consider this step in case you need to replace a tube and you have a spare one but longer, which should be cut, trimmed and drilled. For example, the hotend tube for the MK3 is longer than the tube for the MK3S.

I went to the FESTO site and could not find PTFE with 4mm OD and 1.85mm ID. Also, their minimum order seems to be 100m.

I googled for e3e and all I got was a GoDaddy page telling me that the domain name was for sale.

The problem is that from your shop the tubing for the hot end costs >US$22. All in the shipping. if i buy 3, the cost drops to just over US$7.00.

I am looking for a supplier that can ship it to me for somewhere between free and US$5.

Hey Joe,

The 1.85mm tubing is very hard to find. I suggest you use the standard 2mm ID tubing instead.

If you need it for MMU2, then we have replacements available in our e-shop.
