Step 1 はじめに

⬢このガイドでは、ESPカメラ（ESP32-S3-EYE）を起動し、Prusa Connectに接続します。

このガイドは経験豊富なユーザーを対象としています。

本ガイドはWindowsユーザーのみに適しています！他のOSをお使いの場合は、GitHubのドキュメントを参照してください。

Step 2 ハードウェアの互換性

市場には無数のESP32 Camモジュールが出回っています。Camハードウェアを購入したら、適切なファームウェアをフラッシュする必要があります。

ファームウェアは複数のモデルで動作する可能性があります。

⬢本ガイドは、ESP32-S3-EYE バージョンに焦点を当てています。ESP32-S3-EYE は有効な EU 無線設備指令（RED）証明書を取得しており、その使用に関するガイダンスを提供することができます。

ESP32カメラは、2.4GHz Wi-Fiネットワーク経由で接続します。

Step 3 ハードウェア部品の準備

⬢以下のステップに向けて、下記の部品を用意してください。

⬢ESP32カムボード（ESP32-S3-EYEバージョンを使用）

⬢A compatible USB power supply capable of providing at least 2A current.

⬢

A compatible USB cable. In this case, it is a Micro USB to USB-A.

データ接続が可能なケーブルを使用していることを確認してください。ケーブルの中には充電専用に設計されているものもあり、このようなケースでは役に立ちません。

⬢カメラのカバーをプリントすることをお勧めします。ESPカメラの様々なモデルのカバーは、Printables.comで見つけることができます。

Step 4 カメラとPCの接続

⬢互換性のあるUSBケーブルを使用して、カメラをコンピュータに接続します。

⬢Now, we have to check if your computer detects the camera module properly.

⬢Open up Device Manager (press Windows key + X, then press m)

⬢Ports (COM & LPT)セクションに移動します。

⬢The camera should appear as USB Serial Device and a corresponding COM port number.

⬢

Note down the COM port number. In our case, it is COM15.

We will need the number later on. Note that your number might differ!

Different versions of the ESP Cam might identify as USB-SERIAL CH340G.

Step 5 ファームウェアのダウンロード

⬢ESP32 Prusa Connect Camファームウェアファイルのダウンロード

Find the latest version in the Releases page of the GitHub repository.

⬢Download the .zip file with the pre-compiled firmware images from the Assets column.

Make sure you’re downloading the correct package for your ESP32 camera type!

⬢

Unzip all the files from the downloaded package. We will need these image files in the upcoming steps.

Step 6 書き込みツールのダウンロード

⬢Run the flash_download_tool_x.x.x.exe

If you encounter issues, try running the app as an administrator.

Step 7 書き込みツールを開く

⬢最初の画面：

⬢チップタイプ：ESP32-S3として設定

⬢WorkMode:をDevelopに設定

⬢ロードモードをUSBに設定

⬢OK を押して続けます。

これらの設定は ESP32-S3-EYE バージョンのみに適しています。他の ESP カムモデルでは、チップタイプなど異なる設定が必要な場合があります：ロードモード： UART

Step 8 書き込みツールのセットアップ（その1）

⬢Tick the first checkbox. The first line will become red temporarily.

⬢Click the three dots button and select the following file from the firmware images we have downloaded earlier:

⬢ESP32_PrusaConnectCam.ino.bootloader.bin

⬢行の最後に、アドレスをセットします：

⬢0x0000

These are settings for ESP32-S3-EYE. Other ESP Cam versions might require a bootloader to be flashed onto 0x1000 address!

⬢Proceed to the second line. Tick the checkbox, set the firmware image and an address to:

⬢ESP32_PrusaConnectCam.ino.partitions.bin

⬢0x8000

⬢Proceed to the third line. Tick the checkbox, set the firmware image and an address to:

⬢ESP32_PrusaConnectCam.ino.bin

⬢0x10000

Step 9 書き込みツールのセットアップ（その2）

⬢SPI SPEEDを設定： 80MHz

⬢SPI MODEを設定： DIO

⬢DoNotChgBinオプションをチェックしたままにしてください。

⬢Set the COM: port to the corresponding Com port number for your camera.

⬢Set the BAUD: rate to 921600.

These are settings for ESP32-S3-EYE. Other ESP Cam versions might require a different Baud rate, such as 460800.

Verify once more, that everything has been set correctly, as seen in the pictures.

Step 10 Accessing the BOOT MODE

⬢Before proceeding to access the Cam’s memory, it is necessary to switch the board into a BOOT mode.

⬢Press the BOOT button and keep it held.

⬢While you still hold the BOOT button, Press the RST button.

⬢1 秒間待ちます。その後、BOOT ボタンを離します。

ESP32-S3-EYE requires this boot mode trick.
Other ESP Cam versions might not.

Step 11 消去と書き込み

⬢まず、カメラのメモリーをクリアする必要があります。

⬢ERASE ボタンを押します。

⬢A finished operation will be indicated by the 完成 FINISH sign.

⬢これで、カメラにファームウェアファイルを書き込みできます。

⬢START ボタンを押します。

これで点滅が始まります。処理中は何も触ったり、動かしたり、クリックしたりしないでください。終了するまでお待ちください。さもないと、カメラモジュールを損傷する可能性があります！

⬢After the 完成 FINISH sign appears again. Now, you can disconnect the camera from the computer.

Step 12 Prusa Connect カメラセットアップ

⬢Now, we will have to set up the camera in Prusa Connect.

⬢Open up the Prusa Connect (connect.prusa3D.com)

⬢ログイン

⬢カメラを使用したいプリンタを選択します。

⬢カメラタブに移動します。

⬢他のカメラの新規追加をクリックします。

⬢A new camera will appear in the list. Here, you can give the camera a name.

⬢最も重要な部分： 指定されたカメラのTOKENをコピーし、後で使用するために保存します。

Step 13 カメラハードウェアセットアップ

⬢いよいよカメラ本体のセットアップです。

⬢カメラをUSB電源に接続します。

⬢Install the camera next to the printer, where you wish to use it.

カメラの電子回路が熱を発する可能性があり、冷却に十分な風量が必要になるため、風通しの良い場所で使用することをお勧めします。

プリントしたカバーにカメラを入れる場合は、時間が経ってもカメラが過熱しないように、ある程度の冷却が可能であることを確認してください。

⬢An LED light will light up and start blinking on the camera module.

Step 14 カメラとWi-Fiの接続

⬢しばらくすると、カメラはWi-Fi APモードで起動します。

基本的に、カメラは独自のWi-Fiネットワークを開始します。

⬢コンピュータのWi-Fiリストからカメラを探します。

⬢Enter the default password: 12345678 and connect to it.

⬢After establishing a successful connection, your computer might complain about having "No Internet" on the given network. That is OK.

When copy-pasting the password, ensure there are no additional characters, such as a space, included.

Step 15 カメラソフトウェア：セットアップ

⬢新しいウェブブラウザのウィンドウを開きます。

⬢Open up the 192.168.0.1 IP Address as a webpage.

Alternatively, you can also use the http://prusa-esp32cam.local hostname (mDNS) instead of the IP Address.

If you're experiencing difficulties viewing the webpage on a specific device, such as an iPhone, consider trying a different platform.

前のステップで示したように、ESP CamのWi-Fiネットワークに接続する必要があることに留意してください。

⬢カメラの設定インターフェイスが表示されます。

⬢Insert the Connect Token into the marked field. Click Save and wait for confirmation.

This is the Prusa Connect camera token we have obtained in an earlier step.

Step 16 カムソフトウェア：カム設定

⬢Since we're in the camera configuration tab already, we can set up the image options:

⬢トリガー間隔を設定し、[保存]をクリックします。

⬢解像度のセットアップ

This will improve the image quality significantly, as the resolution is set to the lowest possible by default.

If you have connectivity issues due to bad Wi-Fi signal, decreasing the image quality and resolution might help.

⬢Clicking Capture snapshot will refresh the image you see on the page.

⬢Click Download snapshot or Start Stream to view the image in full scale.

The third image is an example snapshot captured by the ESP Cam with a 170° wide-angle lens.

Step 17 カムソフトウェア：Wi-Fi設定

⬢Wi-Fi設定タブに入ります。

⬢ネットワークのリストが表示されます。接続するネットワークがリストに表示され、電波が強いことを確認してください。

⬢

選択したネットワークのSSID（ネットワーク名）とパスワードを専用フィールドに入力し、「Save & Connect（保存して接続）」をクリックします。

⬢Shortly after, it should connect to the specified Wi-Fi network, indicated in the Connection Status column.

最初の接続に失敗した場合は、右上の再起動ボタンでカメラを再起動できます。

Step 18 カムソフトウェア：オプション

⬢これでカメラの設定が完了しました。

⬢While we are on the ESP camera's configuration page, let's take a quick look at the other options it offers.

⬢On the Authentication tab, you can set a password to access the configuration page.

⬢The System tab provides several advanced options such as:

⬢Setting a Hostname (mDNS record) for easier future access to the configuration page over the local network.

⬢OTAファームウェアのアップデートを確認するには、「アップデートを確認」をクリックします。新しいバージョンが利用可能な場合は、「クラウドから更新」をクリックします。この機能を使用するには、カメラをインターネットに接続する必要があります。

⬢手動でファームウェアを更新する場合は、コンピュータ上のファームウェアファイル（ESP32_PrusaConnectCam.ino.bin）を選択し、「ファイルから更新」をクリックします。その後、カメラを再起動します。

Step 19 Prusa Connect でのカメラ

Disconnect your computer from the ESP32 Cam Wi-Fi network and reconnect it to your usual network.

⬢Prusa Connectに戻ります。

⬢しばらく待つと、カメラ画像がコネクトに表示されます。「カメラ」タブ、プリンターの詳細、およびプリンター一覧ページに表示されます。
