Patterns - set extruder sequence | Prusa Knowledge Base

PrusaSlicer lets you define a repeating pattern of color changes. You can access this feature by clicking the gear icon in the bottom right corner of the preview screen.

The color change interval can be defined either in layers or in millimeters - which can be useful when you’re using the Variable layer height function.

To remove all of the color changes use the reset button

located in the bottom right corner of the preview screen.

You can repeat the same color (extruder) in the sequence several times.

When I click the gear icon, "Set extruder sequence" is not one of the available options. Any suggestions for activating it?

I wish I could add a custom sequence. e.g Layer 1-10, 11-15, 15-22 and add this sequence as a custom sequence for the whole model. Adding a sequence by mm or by layer height is just not versatile for my needs. If I want custom sequence I need to add the color changes manual for the whole model which is a pita!
